Plastaket Manufacturing has launched Champion Juicer 2000+, another masterstroke in design and technology that delivers rich tasting colorful juice, leaving behind a pale pulp.

The Champion employs different techniques for producing the end result-nutritious juice. The process starts with grating followed by masticating or crunching the pulp for breaking the cellulose barrier of the cells and finally presses the crunched pulp to extract nourishing juice. Masticating process limits oxidation, thus minimizing the loss of nutrients. Surely, you get a glass of juice with all the vitamins, minerals and enzymes in tact.

The Champion Juicer is equipped to handle a variety of fruits and vegetables. You may have any of these combinations: beetroot, carrots, radish, celery, cabbage, broccoli, and leafy greens like parsley and spinach, or apples, pineapple, melon, and peaches. The machine works very fast and is designed to deliver 1 quart of juice in six to seven minutes, thereby prompting you to feed it continuously, else the temperature of juice begins to go up.

Practically, the only exception to what the champion can’t handle is wheat grass.

It comes with a 1 3/4″ feeding chamber wherein you can add most fruits and vegetables without preparation. The floating cutter continues with the rest to offer nutritious juice. What’s more, the accessories help you convert the Champion to a food center for producing peanut butter, baby foods, tempting fruit sauces and even healthy frozen deserts. Go ahead to prepare ice creams from banana and strawberries.

On removing the juicing screen, the machine functions like a grater to make those mouth watering healthy smoothies.

It’s sensible to opt for optional grain mill attachment that allows you to grind coffee, flour and other dry grains, enabling you to serve family with fiber-rich foods comprising of freshly ground wheat, oats and oats.

Assembly of the machine or changing over of accessories is convenient. However, there’s a limitation. The Champion needs slightly extra force for its operation, making its operation rather difficult for the elderly or ailing person.

The Champion comes with a built-in-safety measure that doesn’t allow it to start its operation until all the components are in place.

Cleaning of juicers has always been a bit awkward. Nylon lamination on its steel parts makes it unsafe for dishwasher. Yet, it’s not a very serious problem as you can rinse the components immediately after use. The special treatment given to the inside of its container leaves no odors.

Choose a model that suits the size of your family. A large family used to taking juices regularly would do well to opt for the commercial model that has a powerful 650 watts motor.

The new improved Household Model comes with the same durable stainless steel shaft for its motor as the Commercial model, but it has a motor of 540 watts. The Commercial Juicer causes less heat during its operation, thus minimizing nutrient loss.

It’s a big relief to have a domestic appliance with the assurance of quality of a reputed manufacturer. Plastaket has been in the business of producing juicers since 1955, and offers a 10-year limited warranty on the components. Normal wear of the cutter is covered for 1 year, and defects arising due failure of motor shaft seal are covered for 3 years.
